Wednesday night Phil and I flew to Oregon for his friend Sean's wedding, and to visit some friends and family. The first stop was Pam's parents house, where we stayed that night. They cooked us a wonderful breakfast and we got to enjoy the beautiful farmland and country side from their GORGEOUS house. =)
Next it was off to my friend Wendee and Paul's to see Wendee and their 3-week old daughter Dahlia. It was so fun to get to hold her. She's such a doll!!! She's already starting to hold up her neck, and she really likes being held. (But, what baby doesn't?!)
It was a great to spend time with Pam and Wendee (and Phil, too) and get to help her around the house. Phil cooked for her, Pam helped with announcements and I held Dahlia and put her very soundly to sleep.
After spending the morning and afternoon with Wendee, Pam and the baby, it was time to drive to Eugene for the wedding rehearsal. Minus a bit of traffic, we made it and Phil got to reunited with some old high school friends. I quickly met his friends, and we had a great evening laughing and enjoying great Mexican food.
Friday we took care of some tux business, hung out with my friend Alli, and got to spend the evening with Phil's brother Dan and his wife Tia. We miss you guys!!! It was great to see them, and spend some time with them.
Then the Big Day came (not ours, but Sean and Christy's.) While Phil hung out with the other groomsmen and the groom, I got to spend more time with Alli....shopping. Yay! I succeeded in walking out of Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Pier 1 without a thing. Impressive, huh?
The wedding was great and we a blast! The bride looked beautiful, the groom handsome, and Phil looked GREAT! You can check out our Picasa Web Album (see link on right) for more pics of the weekend.
And Back Again...Now we're home, after arriving back to our house at 1am this morning. Both of us headed to work after a few short hours sleep, and Phil had his first class of grad school tonight. So life is moving along and we're enjoying it!
